Where did you get an electronic regulator for a 600?

I used to sell the electronic regulators. Some were short and potted
and some looked like a mechanical type but were electronic. The price
was the same for either. The aftermarket regs came with an adapter
pigtail to go from the Honda 600 to the Civic type regulator.
Typically you only need 3 of the 6 wires to hook up another
regulator. Years ago I adapted a Civic alternator to my Honda 600 and
used a Civic regulator, it all worked swell. I had lightened the
flywheel by 15 pounds and in doing so, I lost the flywheel windings.
The engine spun up a bit faster but dogged it up the hills. Last time
I called my supplier in LA I was told they just tossed out 1000 of
the adapters, which was all you needed to use a civic regulator.
