NOS?

I don't like to look ignorant as a rule, but what does NOS stand for?

Greg,
NOS = New Old Stock.  Generally, when a new car dealer stops selling a brand or model or goes out of business, the Factory-Original parts inventory is bought by someone with some foresight to sell at a profit at a later date.  Sometimes, hordes of NOS parts are discovered in warehouses and are bought up by NOS dealers and the like.
NORS = New Old Replacement Stock.  Those are old parts that are not factory originals but made by aftermarket manufacturers and were sold in auto parts stores such as Napa.
