Z600 Rear Brake Cylinder Rebuild.

Hello All,
Newbie to this group...Zman here. Have any of you folks
successfully rebuilt the leaking rear wheel cylinders using stock off
the shelf Honda motorcycle pistons? I realize the cylinders may have
to be sleeved...but was looking for an interchangeable
piston/umbrella gasket that might be common to Honda motorcycles with
drum brakes from the same era.
I am looking forward to contributing some of my experiences with the
NN and Z600's the past 32 years. (First Orange one in 73) $1000 cash
with 1000 miles on it, sold by the terrified owner when NO ONE would
work on it.
It is pleasing to see the 600's get the recognition they always
deserved as both a viable and advanced micro car, far superior to the
BMW (R27) powered Isetta 250 and 300.

If you have 11/16" rear cylinders you can go purchase complete wheel
cylinders from '73-74 Civic 1200 you can use the whole piston with
seals, but not the body as the threads are wrong pitch. Rear brake
shoes are same a Civic also of same 2 years.
If your wheel cylinders are 5/8" I can bore them out to accept the
11/16" pistons and would supply complete units for $50ea. bored &
rebuilt but not sleeved.

suggestion for using a different method to put your rear wheel cylinder back
