Browsing through the coupe parts catalog, I came across the item "screen, oil pump filter" (#14 on page 1-16) . Is this a maintenance item? I do not see it on the maintenance schedule in the shop manual. It figures; I just changed the oil!

Oil pump screen securely attaches to bottom of the pump. It is not a
maintenance item. After years of service the edges turn into hard
plastic whereas they were rubber when new.
The oil pump screen sometimes gets clogged by debris from the primary
rubbers and other trash that floats around in the oil. When replacing
the oil pump it was easily replaceable but now a discontinued item.
