Whats the easiest way to add a tach to the sedan?

There isn't a good spot to put one. The mechanical tach from the coupe is
the best, but you have to get a coupe tach drive assembly on the end of the
cam (very easy).
Your speedometer is just as good as the tach. You have RPM ranges marked off
on the speedometer for each gear which represent the RPM range in each gear.
Unless you just want to see the tach needle moving around, it's a waste of
your money and will drop the value of the car (won't be stock). If you want
to see the performance of the car and like to see needles moving, a vacuum
gauge is far more entertaining and will guide you into high gas mileages.
Again, the problem is where will you mount it? I use the little cubby hole
on the left end of the dash to keep junk in, and I can't think of another
place for any gauge.
There was a message a while back on a digital tach that someone put in.
Search the archives for it. It was small and as I recall either a stick on
back or velcro.

Back when these cars were still being sold, you could get an electric tach from the dealers. They fit in the optional clock face plate that fit in the left side cubby hole. If your serious about getting one, contact Tim Mings. He should have some. I've played around with them a little and they are not very accurate.
