Penny on gas tank

After pulling the gas tank off my N600, I discovered a 1982 penny fastened to the top
corner of the tank (picture posted in the photos section). Anyone else ever found such a
thing?

It looks as if it may have been a quick fix patch job. But any way you
look at it, it increases the value of the car!
