I had a coupe. I got about 55 mpg at 75 mph following (drafting) trucks on US 287, in Texas, heading south. I just followed them, at their speed. With them braking the air in front, there was almost no air for my car to push out of the way. I didn't tailgate, just followed relatively closely. You can draft from 100 yards away. I only did it once. I usually got around 30 to 35 mpg, around town.

There are not too many cars you see on the road that one person can lift by themselves.  The Honda 600 is one of them.  I don't mind when they want to tug on the front bumper but I always discourage picking up the back bumper because it isn't as strong and the sheet metal tray can get deformed.
Hopefully your friends don't carry the car to the top of some steps.
I saw that happen to a VW bug when I was in high school.

I find that putting a car cover over your car at work and/or other areas keeps people from molesting your car.   Installing a 132 db. horn tells other drivers that your close by.
A note of caution, all honda 600's should have their break fluid changed at least every two years (unless you have DOT5).  This will keep your system working smoothly and cut the chances of old fluid corroding your cylinders.
Changing your oil should be done every 3 months or 3 thousand miles, this will keep contaminates from eating away the inside of your aluminum engine.
