Hi, I was recommended to this group by one of its helpful members. I
am looking to pick up a 600 to either get into a drivable condition
or to purchase already in running condition.
I am a mechanic and engine builder so getting the car running should
not be that big of an issue if the car needs some TLC. Anyways I am
open to anything. I am in Michigan and ideally would prefer something
close to me to get but I am willing to look across the US and Canada
to find something that works.
Thanks
Mike

Re: Looking for 600!
Hello, I am in southern MN. I recently bought a 1971 N600 and I love
it. The only problem is that 3 months after I bought it, my wife
got pregnant and now I'm sadly looking to sell it. It runs, drives,
and looks pretty good. It's by no means is flawless, but for a car
it's age it's in really good shape. It has somewhere around 80,000
miles on it, (I'll have to go look to get an exact number) It's red
w/ black interior, has new tires, I guess the guy I bought it from
had the seats re-apholstered, it has the factory option aluminum
wheels. I haven't had to do a whole lot to it. I rebuilt the carb,
adjusted the points, replaced all the exhaust gaskets and rebuilt
the manifold heater as the 37 year old sheet metal wasn't fairing the
greatest. Blows great heat now. I'm only looking to get out of her
what I've got into her, and that's $3600. If you are interested we
could work out some way to meet in the middle somewhere, (for the
cost of gas) if you are interested e-mail me at javman03@... and
I'll send you some pictures. Thanks and good luck in your quest,
Derrick.
(P.S. She came from down south and has never seen salt so there
isn't any rust to speak of, just incase you were worried about the
Minnesota part))
