I was only able to find a service bulletin mentioning the similarities
between some N600 yellow colors.
Does anyone have a comprehensive list of N600 and Z600 colors (ideally
with the color codes, years offered, etc.)?
Color Codes
Re: Color Codes
see my manuals and documents page at www.honda600coupe.com for a paint codes list.
also download the dealer brochure pages at the bottom of this page - not the screensaver, the zipped images. The last page illustrates the colors.
Good luck,
Steve

Re: Color Codes
Getting close to paint time on my 1972 Pop Orange coupe.
I want to use a base coat clear coat paint.
The paint shop says they cant cross referance the codes.
Honda YR12, Dupont 37617, Rinshed-Mason 7391.
Anyone painted with the new paint?
Any new codes?
Thanks
Lyle

Re: Color Codes
You should be able to go to the paint store and pick out your color and have them mix it. I used to own a body shop but the only time we used base coat clear coat was for metallics. If you are looking for depth you should just go to the body shop and ask the painter his preference. I know in many states paints have gone to water base.
I'm painting my coupe orange too, but have some old Glasurite I got some 10 years ago. I did some interior panels and it is still good. Probably has lots of cadmium and other good stuff in it.

Re: Color Codes
Miles, I will be painting the car inside and out, so matching is not an issue, but I want to get close to the original color. All the body shops around me use base/clear.
Thanks

Re: Color Codes
I finally found a paint shop that will match my Pop Orange color, Honda YR12.
FinishMaster is the shop and they used a Limco paint.
I will be using a basecoat/clearcoat type paint. I have used this on all my classic cars. The color matches my inside panels perfect.
