Hello all. I am looking for any information regarding were I can
purchase a comlpete engine for my 1971 Honda AN600. I am very new to
the world of the Honda 600's, but they are very beautiful cars. The old
engine was not in the car when I bought it. Still, for $700, a car like
that was too good to pass up. If it is of any help, the old engine
number (according to a plaque on the inside) was "N600E-1591101". I
have no idea what kind of CC it had since I am new to this kind of car,
but I would like to fit in a 600cc engine, if possible. The Hawaiian
engine would be great to find! If not, any that would fit the car
comfortably. Any help would be would be appreciated. Thank you all for
your time and keep up the great work.

Re: Need help finding complete engine
all honda az600 and an600 cars come with a 600cc engine (0.6 liters)
you could use any engine from either car they are basicly the same.

Thank You for your response :)
Re: Need help finding complete engine
Correction:
All Honda 600's come with a 598cc power plant. Your engine number - It should read 1501101 which would make it an April 1971 car, check the small black plate on the drivers door post for a 4/71 . The number you gave never existed, the highest recorded engine number was a N600 E-1515934 in August of 1972, last month of production.

Re: Need help finding complete engine
Thanks Bill, you sure know your 600's! I had mistaken the "0" for a "9".
