Big electrical problems in NY.
I brought my Honda 600to an electrical place and they said it is discharging.
Something about a mag needle??
Any ideas??

Once the roof is roughed in to shape, you will apply tension to either side of the top, I used this method on a coupe with a 2x4 along the rubber strips areas. If you use a torch to shrink the metal make sure you know how it works before you do it. Watch a video or maybe look on You Tube. Hitting a roof with a torch is like sandblasting the body, you may not like the result.

Hi Jeremy,
    Well,  there's a business to avoid in the future.  These cars do not have a magneto...  they have an alternator.   Give us some more info....here are a couple questions which need answering;
1)  measure your car battery voltage and tell us the reading
2)  start your engine and turn off all the accessories (lights, radio, heater),  remove the positive battery terminal.  Does the engine continue running?  If yes,  proceed to (3) below.
3)   With the engine running and the positive battery terminal removed,  measure the voltage between the battery cable (not the battery but the cable coming from the engine compartment) and the engine casing.
Tell us the voltage reading.
If your car battery is discharging,  I suspect you have a problem with the voltage regulator or the alternator or one of the wiring connectors.
You could also have a problem with the rectifier but those rarely go bad unless they have been abused.

Hi Bruce,
   That indicates a serious problem with the charging system.  Possibly a bad rectifier, bad voltage regulator, bad alternator,  or the cables to the alternator (and/or voltage regulator) are not connected.

Sounds like you miss heard Magneto. Any electrical shop should be able to measure the voltage going to the battery. 13.8v is normal. There's 5 sep. components to your charging system. 2 of them are external, 3 are on the engine. Take it to somebody else who understands motorcycle charging systems.

These things are also called "Wey Stators" but I do not think they referd to them as this for this car/ momooommotrcyc never mind but! 3 pole A.C. wey stator,

set on D.C. check for 10~14 V.D.C on the 2 wires going into the stator. They must stay connected, push the probe (red +) into the connector. Black probe to gnd.
They do not look like the 3 wires that look the same, they should be white. If you got D.C. activating the rotor than switch to A.C. on the meter and with car running check between ground and 1 of 3 white, or in between each of the 3 white they will have different spade type connectors Dis connect these than check. white to gnd. 18.00 ~ 22.9 white to white 38.00 ~ 46.00 V.A.C... If it is working cut those dumb connectors off of the rectifier and stator and solder them together. They put those connectors right in the path of every kind of voltage killing / connector corroding, things out on the road. = less resistance to rectifier = more charge especially at idle. No 12.00 V.D.C. from regulator = bad voltage regulator or connection or ground from motor to frame or dirty contacts inside regulator they look like points and need to filed & cleaned once in a while
