Just wondering if anyone has purchased a carpet set for their N600 (probably from Mike O'Connor, not sure if anyone else it) and how it fit in thier car. I purchased a carpet set for my Mini many years back and I was not very happy with the fit of it, nothing against who sold it, just not manufactured very well at all.
So before I order a carpet set, just wanted to know if anyone else has any experience with it and if they could let me know!
Cheers

Re: Carpet set
i didn't buy the carpet set, but i did buy a standard roll of replacement carpet from jc whitney in black. it was too stiff after i cut it out to match the old carpet, so i just soaked it in warm water and then moulded over the floor and padding in the car. after drying for a couple of days, perfect fit! then just remove the snaps from your old carpet and put them in the new carpet. looks professional good luck, Bill

Re: Carpet set
I have purchased 2 carpet sets for coupes from Mike O'Connor. Both are excellent quality and value. They seem to be an exact match of the factory cut. They even come with the under-padding. The price is right and everything fits perfectly.

Re: Carpet set
Mike & I get the carpets from the same place. The last time I ordered one of each set. They are made to order when I order, they don't just sit there waiting to be sold. It takes 3 weeks from when I order but Mike may keep them in stock.
Sedan Carpets: 5 piece fronts. Which means the original was 3 piece front that were actually backed with plastic and heat moulded to go over the hump and up the hump by the pedals. They make the center rug in 3 pieces. The 2 side pieces are OK. I like to tear the foam backing off because it restricts my pedals. The sedan back carpet is good.
Coupe Carpets: 5 piece fronts as original, back carpet as original and lots of extra pieces I couldn't figure out where they went. One looked like it went where the back rubber mat is.
Alternately, if you take your original carpets to an upholstery shop you can get them made to your specs. They will bind the edges so they don't unravel. Or you can cut your own and have them bound by a pro.

Need some Coupe and Sedan parts...
Hi Gang,
I'm looking for the following parts:
1) dashboard for coupe and sedan
It doesn't have to be perfect but needs to be really good.
2) new windshield for coupe and sedan
A new one would be great but nearly new works too.
3) hawaiian exhaust pipes for sedan and coupe
If you have any of the crush washers or gaskets I'll take them too.
4) hawaiian cam for sedan and coupe
The cams must be in very good to excellent condition.
No worn out or rusted cams please!
5) Rear "Honda" emblem for sedan.
This is the long chromed plastic emblem that goes over the license plate on the back hatch.
I had a nice one but can't find it!
If you can help with any of these items please send condition and price. I prefer to see pictures of the items!
thanks! ;o)
