Restoration!
Restoration!
I have a dilemma: I don't know if you guys remember that I posted a message saying that I was going to need parts for My 72 az600 as money allowed. Well I saw a car on craig's list and went to see it thinking that I could use it as a parts car, but the car is complete and needs only 4 parts (exhaust pipe after de manifold) no biggie,(cooling fan and housing), (master cylinder)and (some turn signal light fixtures). I bought the car for $700, it needs to be restored. It has matching vin #s for the body and engine I was not planning a second restoration before completing the fist. Please provide words of encoragement, advice or just tell me if you think I am crazy.
Re: Restoration!
Fidel,
I think you are crazy.
Just like all of us who love the Honda 600 are crazy.
What a wonderful car to be crazy about.
Good luck with the restoration. Keep us posted on how things proceed. Send photos - before and after.

Re: Restoration!
$700.00 is the motor in good shape? if it is Merry Christmas! what a deal. if I had the room I would have more than one, even if you used it now for a parts car. Finish one and than you can go slow on fixing the other. "Crazy" yes we are, but so much fun.

Sedan on craigslist
Here is a nice looking sedan for a decent price on craigslist in Greenwood Arkansas. No idea about how well it runs...

Haha, looks like we both found the car the same day and had the same idea.
