So I feel as if I post way to many messages but her is another question.
So i got my z to finally spark, I have the point set to the right gap along with the spark plugs. And when I tested it I got spark.
I got the fuel system hooked up temporarily so there was fuel getting to the carb.
But still wont start....
Every so often there would be a single fire, or at least that's what it sounded like to me.
So what should be my next plan of action???
Also I realized the other day, My z is the only one I've ever seen with a "soft top" it looks like its factory. But like I said Ive never seen one before. Was this an option or was this a aftermarket job??
Also I don't know if any of you guys read Honda Tuning, I typically don't. But Today I picked it up at the book store and opened it up just out of curiosity and first pages I turned to was a resto moded 72 z600. So I had to buy the Magazine! I haven't read the article yet but it looked good. Im saving it to read on my flight to Jamaica tomorrow, it'll help pass the flight by :)
Once again I truly appreciate all the help I have gotten from you guys!

Julian,
Coupe was only a hardtop, so please post some pix for us. Several of us have cut the tops off, but never saw one with a functioning softtop.
There was a slider top for the Sedan, very rare.

Julian;
The attached file should walk you through making all the necessary adjustments along with checking your cam chain to see if it has stretched to the point of jumping a tooth as others in the group have referenced. It's a quick read and will help to get things lined up if they are off.
