Re: Last push for the big show this weekend
We had a wonderful time at the extravaganza. This was our firs car show with our newly completed sedan, but it won't be our last! Great cars, nice folks, and perfect weather for air cooled engines. Thanks again for putting it on, Mark!

Last push for the big GPNW show this weekend
You are so welcome ! Your car was so beautiful, I loved the sliding roof addition. PS> I need to get the name of that company that made the sliding roof Webasto copy again. Was it power sports in AZ ? We all had a Super - Duper time.
Once I recover I'll post up some pictures and video .

The kit came from streetbeatcustoms.com. Just looking at their site, it's gotten a little busier than when I ordered mine, but they made it to my dimensions. I think it took about 3 weeks, and cost $800. I've been really happy with it.

Re: Last push for the big GPNW show this weekend
It's been several years since I ordered mine and the site looks different. At the time, there was an option to order custom dimensions. Mine is 35x37. You might try calling or emailing them to see if they still do custom builds. They had an option between vinyl or canvas, and I went with canvas. Here's a link to the blog entry when I cut out the top.

Re: Last push for the big GPNW show this weekend
When I lived in Orange country back in the early 90's there was a company in Anaheim that made these tops custom for all cars. They told me all I needed to give them was a template of the roof curve and the size and they would not only customize the size but put the proper curve in the fame and the fabric battens. I don't remember the name of the company but there are a ton of these manufacturers out there....
