Need brake cylinders and master cylinder

I am going paint with a broad brush here. It can't be loose wire or connection. They rarely just turn the engine off and are typically intermittent. That would result in gas collecting and a misfire or back fire.
Does it run ok when it is cold or only fail when it is hot? Coils sometimes fail when hot and they just shut down.
Again a broad brush. If it dies at idle and high RPM it shouldn't be a carburetor idle circuit or main circuit, but it could be a sticking float. The part of the carb that assures a gas supply to the secondary parts of carb. Do you have a see through fuel filter? Is it empty when the motor shuts down?

I don't think it's the gas tank, but a clean gas tank is always good. �There are specialty shops that can restore gas tanks if you ship it to them. �It doesn't matter what kind. �Most cut it open, scrub it, clean it, and close it up again making it good as new. �Some places apply coatings to preserve it too. �A clean gas tank means you're feeding your car clean fuel.
Though if you're having this issue while you're on the highway, then it's likely something else. �Sounds like electrical connection is a popular choice.

There is a small filter screen at the needle valve inside the carb. This might be getting clogged or is collapsing. It requires pulling the carb and taking needle valve and floats off to get to it.
