Re: relocating battery to back hatch in coupe
I removed my battery from under the hood to add an alternator. I have a lawn tractor batter in the trunk of the car. I used a junkyard cable from a BMW. It is about 10' long and very large gauge($8). They had only one price for battery cables. It charged fine with the stock dynamo. I ran the cable through the fire wall which I am going to change. Jeggs has a bulk head connector($10) that is a threaded stud through the fire wall that is isolated. It will look cleaner and give me another source for 12V.

Yes, you will have to move the jack and use the space for your battery on the coupe with tie downs and the sedan only needs tie downs. Get the proper gauge wire from NAPA the correct length and run it back.
