I have been working pm the rebuild of the engine in ,my Honda Z600, and it appears as though a shop that had all of my old parts may have lost several items including the cylinders and head, and clutch disk. Does anyone have a decent head and cylinders and clutch that they would consider selling or donating to help me complete this project. I would be happy to pay a fair price or to trade other parts that I might have that you need.

Long gone and it is too bad because they both had fenders for the first few weeks. Someone local has the parts because all the good stuff went before the cars were shown in inventory. They were in the parking lot first and then they moved too the sell complete lot and than to the pick a part. I go there once a week and they were stripped when I saw them. The parts I found were hidden near by and I just lucked out.

Although I might be all set on the cylinders, I would appreciate information on the cylinders, including whether they are standard or oversized, and whether the cam chain slipper pin slots are intact or gouged out as is the case on most cylinders.
I really do still need a good cylinder head, some standard sized piston rings, and an NOS clutch disc and possible pressure plate. Does the Z600 use a conventional engagement (or throw out) bearing, or is it more like a motorcycle with the rotating pin actuation rod.

Ok, I will take some pictures later today and send. �It could very well be the case that these cylinders were abandoned because of the issues to which you refer. �If they are not usable, I suppose I will take them to recycle and get a few bucks!

Please send me the photos before you discard anything. I have five Z600s and can always use more parts. I can certainly give you a fair value for these parts, and would hate to see them scrapped.

Very well. �Will do. �As you suspected, the slip pin slot is a bit gouged out but I think a JB weld would suffice. �just a guess. �I would much rather the parts go to use but certainly no use to me!
