Hi there riceburner;
what do-nuts and spacers, and who is unhappy? if your speaking of the
plates for the front of the grill I sent picture of from the parts page,
then they attach any way you can. You could even use a length of 3/32nd's
sheet aluminum and drill some holes in it to allow air just not to much.
Then use some hooks with threads on the end to hold it in place.
The object is to keep it in place and retain some of the heat.
