I'm sorry If I misled you,I was refering to the 4 mounting cushions
on the subframe to body mounts!

Iv got a honda 600 with no paperwork. been out of comission for about 10
years the uper end is apart, its free just come get it

There was a mix-up in the message center. All I wanted to know was
whether the taller collars that go betwean the subframe and body,are
installed in the firewall end or the front bumper end. I read your
info on transplants-thanks,It was a very important site,being that
motors will be poppin in and out more now than ever because of the
age of these cars. Bill did you ever pull one out from the top?

This is from the parts manual. I think I get what your talking about. They
are the Body mounts to the subframe. Normally if there is a larger one it
goes to the body but if you note all are indicated with the same number. So
what your seeing is age. When remounting the subframe always connect in
the following order, struts attached, then front two bolts (leaving them
loose) then the rear bolts and make them tight. Then tighten the front and
recheck the struts. Otherwise you will have one hell of a time getting it
to line up.
