Hi Nick;
I would say it is the switch. or maybe a wire connection. Note; You
have to turn the key all the way off before attempting to restart. You
didn't say it clicks every time you try to start it. And pulling the
starter does not require you drain the oil, but remove the negative battery
cable before attempting to remove the starter.
