Can I have the Chassis, engine and date of manufacture from the car's ID
plates? It all helps, event he scrapped ones. Also, a part many seem to
leave on the car when they part time out are the door hinges and trunk/hatch
lid hinges.
Also, a tip for Honda 600 owners. Often we have a problem with the strut
on the drivers side being low, making it look like we have an Elephant
driving the car. What has really happened is the spring on the left strut
is weak. Change it out with a Passenger (right) side strut spring. After
the change you will notice the car driving level again.

I found an old gas mileage book with the numbers from my first two Honda 600s, both driven until they became parts cars although the love has never faded nor worn off at all. The first one was a 1971 which was upgraded after I hit the police car that ran a red light ruining his rear door and totaling my beautiful car which I kept when they paid me $750. They would have paid me a $1000 to take my car back in the day. Now both of my cars are gone; anyways, what can you tell me about a light yellow 1971 Honda 600 sedan numbered ANXXX-XXX-XXXX?
I replaced it with a beautiful green 1972 Honda 600 sedan numbered ANXXX-XXX-XXXX. I owned both of these cars in the late 70's, at least after 1976 when I got my license and they were my first two cars, but maybe I had others. Thanks for taking the time to revive my old memories that still declare the 600 to be and have been the greatest car ever.
