I use a High temp aluminum exhaust paint that cures with heat. Looks like
fresh glass bead aluminum when done. Send your e-mail address to
billmyong@... and I will send a picture.

Hi Geraldo;
An engine I did is attached. Go to Hirsch at www.hirschauto.com and look
for the Aluminum exhaust paint. I take all the cases to a machine shop and
get everything really clean. Then wipe it all down with a Grows super
kleen, use a few bolts to keep all the cases together, block off all the
large openings and hang it up while you paint it. I mean the head, cam box,
valve cover, cylinders, cam housings, engine case and side covers. I let it
dry for about 24 hours. Then taking care not to touch any of the painted
surfaces I put it back together. I use the high temp black for the exhaust
pipes. Prepped properly they will last a long time. Paint over rust and
they will flake off like a snake losing it's skin.
