My n600 was on the local news last night

How did the reporter come to the conclusion that your car had a
motorcycle engine?
Man, it sure seemed he put a lot of force slamming your door shut. I
cringed when I saw it.

well, the engine of a honda n600 is more like a motorcycle engine than a car engine.  Not only does it LOOK exactly like a motorcycle engine (minus the transmission) but it was made by honda, who at the time, only made motorcycles (except for the s600/s800).
As for the hood, it looked worse than it really was.  The "slam" was filmed in two segments, only one of which involved him closing the hood.  Since it was such an extreme close up it looked more forceful than it really was.
