Sad day, My friend of 6 years is gone. I hadn't been driving her much
the past year or so. (Twice in the last 4 months.) I know what this
does to cars and I couldn't let it just sit and deteriorate in the
shed like that. Any way on a quick run to town in the car on
saturday, someone made me a fair offer on the car and I sold her.
Felt bad, but the young guy is SOOOOOOOO excited to have a Z and I am
wanting to focus more on my 1972 AStick VW Bug that I have. Any way I
have ALOT of parts. The only thing that I know that I do not have an
extra of is a Trannie mount. I would prefer to sell it all as a lot
for $500. The new owner didn't want the parts....crazy, he'll learn.
Any way the parts are all dissasembled and are sorted in my shed. I
literally have enough parts except for trannie mount, windscreen and
drivers fender to make another car. Email me directly with your wish
list. I really have alot of cool used and some NOS parts. Email me at
vikinghill@... and I'll find it, photo it and send you a $.
Thanks,
Casey.
It has been a pleasure to be a member of this and the other 2 cyl
group for the past 6 years or so.....Take care.
FS: Sad day.... But parts for sale.
Re: FS: Sad day.... But parts for sale.
Sad. But not if the new guys has fun.
Best think is you to completely inventory it, then put a list up with approx prices. Keep them cheap and post the list once a month, with the ones you sold crossed off. You’ll make a fair few bob doing that and help some people out. Big stuff take pics. I know it’s a couple of evening’s work but even a little bracket will be worth $5 or $10 to someone missing it, 10 or 20 items like that and you got a hundred or two hundred bucks, before you even get on to the bigger stuff which is worth that kind of money individually.
Greg.
