After using a new spark plug for testing I found I do have spark as the
coil did have 12 volts at it, but even though the spark is a nice blue
color it is a very thin spark, not a fat spark like a car with a larger
ignition coil has.
Is that how these are since the coil is so small?
No carb on it now so I dont if the engine will fire, that may happen
this weekend.
Most of the dash seems to be "dead" electrically, only BEAM amd TURN
indicators work, the fuel gauge, dash lights, PKB, CHARGE and radio do
not work. The wipers, turn signals, hazards and heater blower all work.
I will conitnue to look into these items as all the fuses are good and
and they have proper voltage.
Someone has removed the voltage regulator cover which makes me wonder
if that is why the CHARGE light is inop.
