Hello all - I am about to embark on replacing door weatherstripping on my sedan. The current rubber weatherstripping is either glued on, or has 'melted on' over the years. It is also dry-rotted and in pieces. The problem is how to get it off...it does not look like an easy task. Does anyone have any tips? Does any particular scraper/putty knife work well? What about a heat gun or solvents?
