I have found most of the kits online, but am haveing trouble finding a complete brake master rebuild kit with the check valves. I'm sure I will wheel cylinder kits and front caliper kits as well, but have not got there yet. I did buy a carb rebuild kit and got the motor up and running.

Yep, I am the same way. Got to do it myself to get it right. To resleeve a master cylinder in brass your looking at around $120.00 or more depending on the condition of the cylinder. Then there is the seals to purchase and if the pistons are still usable there will be refurbishing costs to get them right. And, if the check valves are correct (one has larger holes in it than the other) for front and rear. If wrong they will raise heck with your brakes. The Calipers will not need resleeveing, but the pistons may need to be chrome plated to make them smooth again. Many are pitted. The rear cylinders are always in need of resleeving along with seals if the pistons are still good. Check the area where the seal sits on the piston, many are corroded and will leak from there if not sealing properly. Honda had them plated and the DOT3 brake fluid just destroys them. If the pistons are to far gone, I found that getting a cup and spring like was used on the old GM wheel cylinders does the trick. Just sleeve the cylinders in brass, pickup two cups and a spring the correct size and cut the pistons down. Fit together and they work like a champ. Some will say stainless steel sleeving is better, but it can crack the casting when pressed into place.
And to make them last for a long time, I use DOT-5. Much more costly but keeps them running strong for years.

This is from their site, and they do say they will brass sleeve your cylinders. Brass sleeving is a normal service to bringing back warn aluminum brake cylinders. Using DOT5 brake fluid keeps your brake system running for a long time. Yes there is maintenance, but the amount of maintenance using DOT5 compared to DOT3 is far less.
The alternative is to change out your DOT3 fluid every other year or less. I change out DOT5 about every 5 to 6 years. Yes there have been cylinders that had to be rebuilt, but the inside of the cylinder on a vehicle using DOT5 is just like the day it was put together. The only issue I have had is corrosion on the pistons under the seals where the fluid was changed over to DOT5 with out doing a complete rebuild. There was some DOT3 left under the seal that caused the piston seal area to corrode and fail.
Attention to detail is the key, working with used parts can be costly, that is why using a resource like White Post Restorations is a good idea.
