I wouldn't go so far as to qualify these as good parts.  Something off the shelf for a different application may not work and cause more problems than you had to begin with.  Natural Rubber works well with water but not with oil, there are a bunch of O rings out there made for a different purpose.  Many of the shaft seals sold by Honda are directional. None of the seals listed have that capacity.  Often a seal is not all that is needed to correct the problem, the sealing surface may also need repair.  It may fit the housing but will it seal against the rotating shaft?  You may have noticed the Fan Mount cushions on your engine swelling because of oil leaking onto them.  If you replaced them with Neoprene rubber they will resist swelling and last much longer.  The question - have they been tested on a Honda 600 engine? for how long and with what result? In a vehicle or just on a test stand?
