3 cyl Suzuki Engine Swap

Post by Mark »

Hello Group
I am planning on a 1990s Suzuki Geo Metro engine install into a 1972 Z Coupe. Any / all links on this topic greatly appreciated.

The Honda 600's swap seems quite rare - better research and learn from 16vmini site. I think that and locostusa will cover any fabrication questions. Good luck, nothing is impossible, just lots of plan.ning

i would contact this guy https://sites.google.com/site/notabmw1/about-us he does G10 (3 cylinder metro) swaps on classic minis so it would be decent starting point.
with a little modification im sure you could squeeze his subframe in the front of a Honda.

Thank You both Jerry and Rich; very helpful link Jerry. A body guy here in SoCal told me of a pal of his in Santa Barbara who put a 3 cyl Suzuki in his Z600. The 1000c small footprint water cooled engine plus disc brakes and 5 speed Trans should make quite a screamer.
I just purchased my first non-2 wheel Honda yesterday and towed the little Z to my fabricator in Riverside. I will post photos when it's complete!
