Hi there. I bought a second Z600 from a fellow member of the club in the past weeks. I have a few questions regarding parts. I have found out since I bought my first one a few months back, that basically very few off the shelf parts remain for sale. I have been able to buy a number of parts from Ray Cave, and others to much success. However, I am looking for shocks and struts for my 1972 Honda Z600 Coupe. I have not found a supply for those parts, does anybody know of replacement shocks and struts for the car? I know the car isn’t heavy, and it won’t be a vast improvement If I change them, but I think its still worth to do.
Also, some of the car’s air hoses in my car were basically aluminum exhausts like for appliances, taped together with duck tape. Especially the ones that feed air to the engine as well as the hot air for the air cleaner. Were these rubber originally? Are there any replacement options.
Here’s a few pictures of my “new” Z600 and my FJ40 and my ’63 Ford Anglia 105e Deluxe (and for those that know what I am talking about, yes, this is the flying Anglia).

I don't know where you can get the struts or shocks, but do like the Landcruiser and the Anglia. I have a few customers that bring their Landcruisers in and know a guy that has a blue Anglia like the one in the pics.

The KYB # on the box is 55486.
A while back the question was asked about shocks for the Coupe or Sedan - the KYB GR2 shock Part no. 343143 for $30.00 each is a bolt on replacement.
My opinion Bruce has a bunch of junk and selling at more than double cost.

As far as I know, it is the complete #. They fit on vw bugs (front). Unfortunately, they are not available in France :/

No there are no replacement struts, they must be manufactured. Or pulled apart and new seals put in them. These are for the rear shocks. Go here they are advertised for $27.40 each.
