N600 carb

Hello all.
I have 1971 N600 chassis 10255678 and engine# 1024162.
It has the ‘later’ carb on it – the one without the diaphragm in the vacuum chamber.
But based on serial numbers – would this car have come from the factory with the early carb (the one with the diaphragm) ??
One document indicates the serial# dividing point is 1500000 – but is this correct?

Hi Greg; Normally this was a dealer upgrade whtn the first carb (the early
one with the diaphragm sleeve) would fail. So either would be correct.
