If the OD is too large you will have to get your primary cover
machined to fit. The seal metal will be too thin to grind down unless
it's just a couple thous. If the seal loosens and falls out you will
quickly lube up your clutch.

the OD is only .5mm bigger, so I think it will fit. The width of the
seal is 11 mm, while the original width is 8 mm. The seal I found has
a sort of splash gaurd that can be taken off to make the width less.
I am going to take the clutch drum and put it against the primary
drive (off of the car) and see how much space there is to work with
for the seal.

Re: found seal

I was able to get the seal to work, I have driven the car over 100
miles so far, and no leak! The seal is a Timken seal, and the part
number is 451143. The dimensions are 2.625 x 3.251 x .437, I did
remove the "splash gaurd", which was the metal OD doubled, so I
removed half of the strength of the seal, but I put loctite on the OD
and RTV on the outside with seal in place. When driving the seal in
it is best to do if the side cover is off of the car.
