Very Nice!
I have put the Ford 12 alloy wheels on a few Z's I think it works
great, I have put harder springs to give it some lift. The Hard core
honda owners sure do not approve though. Did you file the rims a little to get them to fit? sure is nice to be able to put any old junk yard 12" tire on your car any time you want, sucks when you get a flat and have to put the spare on!

Hi riceburner
It has been some time since I have done this, the way I did it was
threw them on an end mill. It was way over the top, the next time I did one I just took off the front spindle and set it in the lug holes of the rim. Measured from 4 sides to center it, marked it than used a rat tail file to remove the rim material. I thought the mill was just a waste, I worked at a machine shop at the time. Are these rims 12" that have square cut outs in them with the clear coat on em? I do not know of any rim that will just bolt on, but there are several that are close like the ford, and they are easy to shape

Re: 99 messages on bigger wheels - hole hog
If you hog out the hole on a rim, how do you know where the center is? What centers the wheel? Most mag wheels don't center on the hub, they depend on the studs, mag wheels are hard to balance and most people don't want weights showing on the face of the mag.
