Couldn't remember who it was, just that it was a error in the product. Did you ever find a clear tube that will perform as required?

No, I just quit rebuilding master cylinders. That solved all my problems.

For what it’s worth, I thought you had a great product. You did the home work found the correct replacement parts from existing supplies for that purpose. There needs to be a watchdog on the parts coming to this group. Professional manufacturers in the industry have responsibility for the parts they manufacture. I am tired of having engines show up at my door with the wrong rubber seals in them because they (the owner) said some one told them it was ok at Home Depot. Really.

For those who don't know I did some repro items that were very slow movers. Oil pump rods made of steel, later oil pump rods made of aluminum and sleeved in steel along with new pistons and press fit pins. A complete primary drive kit with driven hub that was turned down to accept a new specially fit oil pump rod/piston set but at $300.oo were not a fast mover.
I made and tested guide roller made of acetal plastic (Delrin) only to find it would not take the heat, photo available upon request, though it may be in the photos section.
I had a local machine shop make 100 flywheel tools which I sold for $15.00 with free postage. Made from 1" hex bar tool steel stock. The machinist got mad as he burned upi 10 carbide bits making them and said never again.
I wrote a newsletter for 4 years and had 80 subscribers USA & Canada 1993-1996. I had some interesting stories written by Mike OConnor and Bill Colford, Norm Hart, Chip Lord and others. Ads for cars/parts for sale, interchange parts, guess the part, etc. We communicated by telephone & fax, no emails or texts ! It was one on one with 2 parties involved. I ordered parts from Honda and would go pick them up myself. A new crankshaft assy was only $220.oo and we thought that was expensive !

I ask because I did find such newsletters online, and found them quite interesting and useful.
Do you still work on 600s ? I am about to start a restoration of a 72 Coupe, weather permitting.
I am curious if you (still) overhaul engines; if so, you could email me with prices and such.

Miles is not based in Portland Or. Which I am sure he will tell you soon but Brian and Blaine Higginson are close. B and B auto in Washougal Washington 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX. Washougal is close to Portland and they rebuilt my motor 3 years ago. Though I would have no problem sending it out to Miles for repair. They were just closer. If you ever come down to the north oregon coast let me know, we can talk cars.
