Steve, This is an often asked question.  The stock response is, unless you're a mechanical wizard with expert fabrication skills, it isn't a good idea.  No other motors are an easy fit, then the controls, and the driveshaft rework will be necessary.  Some people use slightly bigger carbs, or hotter cams, but it's a trade off, and whatever gains you get in the short term, will affect engine life.

Hello, I found a 72 N600 that I was looking at buying. It's in good shape, I just want to know if you can add a little more horsepower to the engine or if the is a bigger engine you can have installed?
Thanks,
Steve

Thank you for your help. I was not sure if you can bore out the honda engine any or try to fit a Hayabusa engine in the front or back.

Thanks, I have seen that video before just not sure what kind of shop would be able to do the modifications to the engine.

Hi Paul,
Here is a link to Steve Michelsons site, very informative, check one of the yellow bars for a link to the wiring diagram:
http://www.honda600 coupe.com/ Manuals,_ bulletins, _advertisements. html he may also have service manuals there too.
As far as the key goes I believe Miles Chappell has blank keys and you can probably take the ignition lock to a locksmith and have them figure out the code to cut you a key, Miles also has a nice site at http://www.600miles .com/ and also check out http://www.honda600 source.com/ .
Good Luck,
Mike

Hi folks!
I recently purchased a 71 n600 and it looks as if someone has done a little creative wiring under the hood.  Would anyone happen to have a wiring schematic or service manual?  Also does anyone have any tips on keys?  The car didn't come with keys.
Thanks.

Random spammer.  Doubt he will be back.
No doubt the moderator will do what he must shortly.
