I may be wrong but being they give  a range, the closer you get to the middle point would be perfect.  That is what I shoot for.
But I have a hell of a time setting my valves for some reason.  I have some one else do it.

The clearance on the ignition points is 0.012 to 0.016 inches.  I set it in this range and then use a dwell meter to tweak it to 90 degrees of dwell while the engine is running.
The exhaust and intake valve clearance is in the range of 0.0032 to 0.0047 inches.  I use a feeler gauge which is 0.004 inches.  Follow the illustration in the Z600 coupe shop manual which shows the valve position on the cam when setting the valve clearance.  After you torque the bolt, recheck the clearance setting to insure the clearance has not become less.

I don't know what you are reading, all the vehicles are being crushed, and, sold to- guess where, China.  No guess on that one.  Sure there may be a vehicle here or there that will have a part removed.  But, why, they are giving more for our cement and steel than any other country.  And, we are 50% of the problem.  The Capitalists we are will sell to make a profit.  But then that is why we drive small Honda Cars that are over 35 years young.
