conversion of honda 600 to electric

[CHEYENNE FLETCHER]

I have a good body that needs a drive train very little rust, and a few dents but otherwise perfect for someone to restore instead of the East coast rust bucket. Cheap!!

Hey Allen. Get a service manual and re-assemble you car. They are simple to work on. 1 person can drop the motor in a few hours. Or you can rebuild the top end with it in the car. I trust you have recovered all the parts. It sucks that people are so flakey . What are the types of Hondas you have ? All N600 or are they Z coups??These things are like kittens to me I can't help but save every one I find. 3 so far. I have my eyes on 2 more I found during a Harley excursion I took a few weeks back. Arizona cars with pristine bodys.

Hi Paula;
    This is easy as making pie, really.  A few hours is a bit of an exaggeration, it normally takes me 35 minutes to pull a Honda 600 motor, and another hour or so to have the engine in parts and ready to reassemble.
    I have some pictures on the http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/anzhonda600owners/  site and in the photo albums titled "Removing your Honda 600 power plant" it gives some suggestions on how to proceed.  All you need is a length of wood hand rail, some rope and a come-a-long to hoist the front end of your Honda 600 off the engine/sub frame.  Then just pull it out from under the car and work on it.  Going back is just as easy.

 This car is located near Charlotte NC , Rt.#16, about 15 minutes from I-485

I've been over every inch of this car and she's ready to go!
rebuilt all brakes, seals, pads/shoes, SS hoses, functional brake booster , cleaned carb w/ new accelerator pump diaphram, gas tank clean and clear. Mechanically sound all original 1970, matching numbers, w/ 57k miles. Last registered/inspected 1980/81. Glass in great shape, interior excellent but not perfect, paint makes it a good "20 footer" but has some scratches on hood by the hood latch. Rolls and drives but I recommend new tires for highway use, needs carpet or I can install for an extra $200, no radio and antenna needs replacing. Also needs windshield spray nozzel.
Tuned w/ new points/plugs/condensor......and voltage regulator.
All lights in working order, horn, indicators, and that annoying buzzer!
I have receipt from original owner dated 1979 when head work was performed and only 2000 miles on the car since that work was performed! It has a Mike O'Connor rebuilt mastercylinder and it has NEW swaybar bushings and brackets.
This car is ready as is..... or ready to be taken to the next step!
I just don't have the time or money to to max this puppy out the way I'd like to - that and my wife says 3 Sedans is enough! ;)
I'm asking $3000 but would consider other serious cash offers.
 Since this writing, the carb has been updated and I have a set of 4 NEW mounted Silvertown bias ply tubed tires or a set of mounted USED (8k miles) Yokohama available (price negotiable) and installed a N45(?) battery, taken from my 72' Sedan
Tire kickers abound.... so spare me the BS!

I'll be delivering another Sedan this weekend so unable to respond to queries....
and yes, that means I have a trailer designed to haul these puppies and can provide transport within a reasonable distance - for a reasonable fee!
