72 honda coupe brake booster rebuild kit or brake booster

I don't think engine size has much to do with vacuum. It can affect the reserve, and rate at which a vacuum is created.
Now ignition timing, camshaft duration, valve sealing surfaces can change vacuum.
Most vacuum pumps are tiny in comparison to a 600cc engine, yet they produce nearly 30in.
I have problems with my booster occasionally If I pump the brakes coming to a stop. But I don't think it is a problem, the motor just cant draw the vacuum fast enough.
I have seen a few n360s with more traditional boosters mounted on the firewall (they are tiny). But I don't know if they could retrofit on to the american car. If you can find a re-builder for a factory booster I would recommend spending the extra cash for the original part.

The N360s here in Australia had four wheel drum brakes and had no need for a booster.

$300 is a good price for a discontinued unit.
We need to stay in contact with Karps, rebuilders are hard to find for any car. Today nobody wants to fix stuff, just sell new parts.
Our Opel boosters are also discontinued will see about repairing them also.
Steve could list it on his website also.
