My cylender is Stuck. I soaked it in Deisel for a week and thought it would loosen up. It did just loose enough to let me drive the cylender in and not loose enough to get back out, so I have a master cylender that I cant get to work. Thanks RCD

There's an easy trick to get the piston back out. Get a soft piece of wood, and slam the MC into it, like a hammer. The inertia of the piston will get it to back out.
Now if the MC is corroded, there are several shops that can bore and sleeve the cylinder in brass (look in Hemmings, I use Sierra Specialties). It is an effective repair, better than new.

I have already tried to bounce it back hitting it on a 2x4. Didnt budge. It was rustred pretty bad. What does it cost to have it rebuilt? Thanks RCD

The trick I've used for over thirty years is a brake fitting tapped to accept a grease fitting. I plug the other hole(s), and pump grease into the cylinder. Always works!!! Wheel cylinders, master cylinders, calipers.......Cleans easily as grease is soluble in water (if you use a cheap chassis grease). Still have a daily driver for sale. put 150 miles on it last weekend. Call if interested XXX-XXX-XXXX

Hi Ronnie;
You will need compressed air, and you could have soaked the master cylinder in water. DOT 3 absorbs water and your cylinder has set long enough to dry out completely.
Do the following;
remove all the bolts and fittings, then soak the cylinder, water works fast, I never tried Diesel (your comment below) all I can see it doing is causing the seals to swell up making it harder to remove the pistons.
After soaking it for a while, take it from the water and put back some of the fittings and use bolts to close up the cylinder leaving one hole open at the closed end. (caution - don't screw the bolts in so hard that they touch the pistons or go into the cylinder preventing the pistons from moving out of the cylinder. Also, be careful to use the right threads so you don't strip any of them.) now, point the open end of the master cylinder toward the bucket of water and use air from your compressor to move the pistons out. If they only come out part way the first try, push them back and try again. When they come out there will be a bit of water displaced into the air, so use some caution with the air pressure.

Re: brake master cylinder
I've taken apart 100's of master cylinders. I remove all the fittings then I
wrap a rag around the master cylinder to prevent brake fluid blasting you. Drive
the pistons deeper in then use a 3 stone hone and hone out the corrosion. Swirl
it in a bucket of really hot water then bang it on the end of a 2x4 to drive the
pistons out.
In an extreme situation an easy out of the square variety can be use to assist
by tapping it into the first visible piston and twist and pull outwards. Once
the first piston is out, hone again, swirl in water again and pound on the 2x4.
