honda 600's for sale

Hey group,
It seems that a lot of response was started when Jose asked
about the parts car for sale that is down the street from me. I
guess that our little Honda's have different values to different
members. You all are right on one thing though. Not many people
have ever seen one. The ones that have that I have run into
appreciate the car, and always comment on how rare they are. I have
been asked if I would consider selling mine many a time, and have
been offered more than 6000.00 more than once. So, to me, a great
600 in super shape is worth only as much as a collector is willing to
pay for it, and if you look at the kelly blue book resale, a top
notch 600 is worth close to 7000.00, with 7,500.00 being a perfect
car. Now when it comes to parts cars, thats a different story. Most
parts cars are rusted out, and only a (few) usable parts, hence the
cheap prices. Take it from there.

Hi Nick
Have you seen the one on ebay going for $6,000? That car looks
perfect. I will like to find a car like this one in the US for sale.

All of remarks made on the price and amount paid for a Honda 600 varies,
including the condition regardless to the area it's sold in. And, we all
know what new parts cost to bring our car's up to like new condition. You
pay the going price for a new part. But a Honda 600 with a bunch of new
parts not running (or stopping) is not worth as much as a 600 in running
(and stopping) condition. Miles nailed it on the head, a great looking
Coupe setting for 8 years (if not put to bed correctly) is a lot of work and
trouble to get back on the road, not including getting it registered. I
spent two years getting a car registered before I started working on it.
Then another two years to find the original engine for the car. If you
don't enjoy working, driving and owning one of these cars you might think
about a different hobby. But we are not alone in this world of hard to
restore car's. Heck if they were so easy everyone would have one. And as
far as selling your Honda 600, if you do not value your car, neither will
anyone else. I think these cars are a blast and it's the only car I own I
can "Floor-board" and not get a ticket.

I just joined this group this weekend.
I look forward to corresponding with other Honda 600 Users.
I read your email about a neighbor selling his 600.
I have two Z600 Coupes, both needing work, that I may want to sell.
As I consider selling one or both, or
restoring one of them, or at least doing the work required to getting it back on the road (in storage at least 5-10 years),
I am trying to get an idea of value of the cars.
Is there much of a market for a restorable original Z600, even with body rust, and what kind of price ranges in your opinion do these cars bring?
I realize condition is everything when it comes to value, but I wonder if these cars are rare enough that folks are looking for almost any condition car to restore?
I have started parting one of the coupes out (took out much of the interior, and I wonder if the car is worth more complete?
Lots of questions, and understand if you can’t respond to all of them.
Also have a rusty 600 sedan, and wonder if there is much interest in these models?
I imagine I will post information about the cars to the email list soon.

If you can make a good running COMPLETE car out of the two, you
should have a great start. If the rust is not too bad. I have seen
coupes go for even higher prices, since the coupe seems to be the
more rare than the sedan. Have the body repaired and painted, and
then enjoy the fun ride and the attention the car will bring. Not to
mention excellent gas mileage. The Kelly or Nada resale value books
will give you a great idea on the value from fair to excellent
