Seatbelt Warranty

Honda motor company posted a warranty on all USA sold Honda cars sold
from April 1970 to present. Present at the time was aproximately
1987. Honda wanted their car owners to be safe. Several of my Honda
600 customers took advantage of the warranty on the retractable seat
belts. It was easy, take your 600 to the dealer and the dealer looked
at them, ordered them and even installed them for you.
Apparently my recent referral was turned down. At first she was told
they were still under warranty. But after the dealer tried to acquire
the belts with no luck, the dealer called me looking for the belts. I
do sell parts to Honda dealers but I don't have any new seat belts to
sell. Today I was told Honda won't back the warranty anymore and that
Honda doesn't do anything for them anymore and about 10 years ago
they sold the entire stock to a private individual in Los Angeles. (I
would assume Hugh or Mike K.).

So this means that they sold all of the seat belt to someone else or
all of old stock for the 600 cars. What happened to Kefurt? I've
seen mention of him but what happened to his North Hollywood
operation.

Hay Miles;
This is up there with the Coupe hatch, there was a new hatch replacement
for them too. Any idea of when that one stopped?
