Air shocks, any ideas?

Has anyone found any sort of air shock that can be made to fit in the 600 coupe? I'm willing to modify the mounts - just curious if there is anything small enough. What sort of VW shocks have folks been using?
Handling is not all that important - we want to be able to adjust the height out at Bonneville this year. (Need to get the J/Pro record up over 100 . . . :-)

   you can use the 1969 to 71 VW bug with ball join front, or Datsun 520 pickup.
