THIS IS THE FIRST MICROCAR & MINICAR CLUB NATIONAL MEET IN CALIFORNIA. IT SHOULD BE A GREAT SHOW WITH SOME VERY UNUSUAL CARS ATTENDING. IF YOU ARE ON THE WEST COAST OR PLANNING TO VISIT CALIFORNIA YOU WILL WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS EVENT AUG 7th - NEXT WEEKEND.

The 2004 Microcar & Minicar Club National Meet will be held August 7 2004 at
The SEAPORT MARINA HOTEL 6400 Pacific Coast Highway Long Beach, CA XXX-XXX-XXXX
6 - Arrivals at Hotel after 3 or 4 pm and until maybe 9pm, the Hospitality Room WILL be set up and those Pre-Registered can wander in and have a snack and see what's up. Also if you missed Pre-Registration and you brought a car, this is a good time to Register!
Saturday August 7- The Meet Registration resumes around 8am and continues until 3pm whilst Microcars buzz about or sit quitely while their owners tell tall tales about how they got everything chrome plated for $25.
People's Choice Ballots are collected by 4pm and then shredded while we pick our friends to win awards ...the results are carefully tabulated, checked and re-checked again and the Winners are announced at the Banquet Dinner that evening. Time for the Banquet Dinner is 5:30.
Hey- its California, relax.
Some people only come for Saturday and leave in the afternoon, others start packing up to drive home after the Banquet Dinner that evening.
Sunday August 8- Adios!
Basically, those that did not leave before or after the Banquet Dinner on Saturday get together for breakfast at the hotel and reminisce about the previous day's activities, or lack thereof and gossip about anyone not seated at their tab
You can Register at the Hotel/Meet site on Friday or Saturday.

Current Registration costs will be $15 PER CAR Bring a Second Car and the price is:
$15 for the First Car and $10 for the Second Car Bring Three Cars and the price is:
$15 for the First Car and $10 for the Second Car, and $5 for the Third Car
The first 100 cars Registered get Dash Plaques
Awards Banquet Dinner is $25 per person in advance, $20 per child age 3-10 (under age 3 free!) We really need to know how many people will be attending the Banquet Dinner Awards/Banquet Dinner a very few tickets will be available on-site.
T-Shirts are available on site in a variety of sizes in limited amounts and sizes.
Shirts available for purchase on-site incase you want one:
First Come, First Served, misc Popular Sizes
(but never the one that fits YOU of course....)
Pre-Registration packets for those that have Pre-Registered may be picked up ON-SITE, nothing will be mailed to you.
(NOTE: Street parking around the hotel is PROHIBITED for overnight parking.)
RV & Trailer parking is permitted for hotel guests provided you obtain a Parking Permit from the hotel.
Please inquire at the Hotel Registration Desk.
If you are sleeping in your RV overnight :
a permit must be purchased at the Registration Desk for $50.00.
Failure to display this permit on your vehicle may result in being TOWED
VENDOR INFO:
There will be NO Vendors spaces allowed at this Meet
The City of Long Beach requires a permit for this which costs around $500.
Individuals can bring a car or parts for sale as long as they don't set up a "booth" or lay out a big table of parts.

So, those who can't make the meet can see what's going on as it happens!
WEATHER: Warm to Hot. It has been in the high 70's F to Low 80's F. So i would suggest you bring a hat and some sunscreen. And enjoy the warn California sun.
