engine and trans for sale

Post by Cspan »

Selling engine and transmission from a '72 N600. Engine runs great and
starts up and idles immediately, even after sitting for a few months at a time. I
am not exaggerating, I assure you. A little choke and boom, she is purring.
Transmission goes into all gears and reverse. Also has a nice strong clutch.
I have no idea what price to put on these parts, but if somebody needs them to
help bring their car back to life, I will feel good about not getting top dollar
(unlike some of the people I have dealt with in the Honda 600 "community"
who overprice everything they sell -- harump)
Also selling a working master cylinder for same car.
Let me know if any of you need these things. And if you haven't checked out
the modmicros forum yet, GO SEE IT!

Hi, Matt,,
My 20 year old son has acqrired a 72 Honda Coupe  ( which I think is a Z600 instead of the N600) Would your engine and trans work in his coupe?  We have two other engines - not running, that maybe we could pass along to someone with more mechanical skills than ourselves.  Which part of this great land do you live in?

I forgot to say that I am in the NYC area. No firm buyer yet, just forgot to put
where the parts are located. I can ship, but I don't know how much it weighs or
if it is shippable.
Thanks for all the replies, I hope one of us can work something out to help
your car get back on the road.

The difference is the sedan doesn't have a tach drive and the valve
cover is a different shape, otherwise it bolts in the same and uses
the same heater boxes and clutch cable.

Yeah, what he said, although I didn't know about the valve cover differences. Still learning!
Thanks Miles.
