Hi all,
So far I've survived the last 3 hurricanes that have passed close by
my place in Florida. Been evacuated now for 3.5 weeks. Any way I've
a brand new (NOS) timing chain gear that came with my '72 z600. ALOT
of posts lately about this gear. I would be interested in trading
this NOS gear as well as a NOS engine gasket kit for an engine in
running condition. Maybe this is alittle extreme, but I am to the
point of needing a power plant for the Z. I have had all the body
work and such done and have 3 base coats finnished. (We took off all
the fenders ect.) Just wainting on a break in weather to put the
Clearcoats on. Any way My Z's engine is the original with only about
24K miles on it. I have already checked the gear on the engine and
it is OK. Any way I have the original boxes ect. for these parts.
The gaskets are on a stretch film backing if I remember corectly
(parts are in storage....) Any way if any one has a Z or a N
engine/Trannie that runs OK and needs these parts let me know. I am
in Fl. but will travel the whole SE US to pick up the right deal....
I also may have a lead on a great little 70 - 71 N car.
If this tweeks anyones interest let me know.
KC.
Have NOS parts for AZ600.
Re: Have NOS parts for AZ600.
If you could provide part numbers from your parts it would benefit
anyone interested, because I am not even sure of the part you refer
to as "timing chain gear" It could be either Guide Roller 14630-568-
000 Or Lower Tensioner 14500-568-000. Gasket sets are not listed in
the parts catalog, but anyone who can recognise the numbers could
tell you what you have as there was one for early sedans, one for
late sedans, one for coupes and one or more for low ends.
