Just a few questions for the group:
Were there any springs that fit in behind the rocker pins in the
head, I have 4 small spings that appear to fit behind the pins but I
see no marks on the pins to indicate this and the diagram of the head
shows no such springs but one of the reassembly photos appears to
show a spring???
Also do the rocker arms cover the smooth side of the pin or the one
with the holes drilled?
I've a Vaccume piston carb, is this better than the diaphram type?
Is there a GOOD and EASY way to degrease the engine?
looking through the pile of parts for the 72 Z and I was pleasently
surprised at the number of parts that I have.
It appears that I need a starter, little wire clips that hold the
connecting pin through the piston, choke tach and speedo cables, wire
from distributor to coil and the coil.
With these I believe that I have all the parts neccesary to
reassemble the engine...
I've a NOS set of Honda Rings, Center plastic chain gear and gasket
set. The pistons are polished and smooth.
I will probably be going with a fuel cell if I can figure out how to
mount a gas guage.
