Looking for a bumper

Post by MarkN »

My dream bumper for the rear of my 600 sedan is a n360 rear bumper (no
bumperettes, fits snug to the body)... Anybody got one that they want
to part with?
My second choice is a bumper from the front of 600 sedan. With custom
mounts, they look almost identical to the n360 rear bumper. Anybody
got one that they want to part with?
I'm not looking for perfect condition, a "10 foot looker" would match
the rest of the car just fine.
Thanks, Miles E.

Constant Transmissions in Honda 600 Z cars or Coupes

Post by Lyle »

To the Groups;
The question came up the other day in a conversation; Did Honda ever
manufacture a Honda Z600 or AZ600 with 10 series engine or rather with a
Constant transmission? As all Sedans built up to March 1971 or chassis
number 1033852 when the 15 and 25 series engines hit the market in April
1971.
Well No and maybe Yes. The Honda Club from France sent me a Title
certificate indicating that the first Honda Z600 Coupe sold in France had
chassis number ZXXX-XXX-XXXX with engine number 2000001. The e-mail from
Philippe Lalanne states that it was a prototype that was sent to France for
car a show and not titled until December 1971. But I have Chassis number
AZXXX-XXX-XXXX with engine N600E-2500104. And another chassis AZXXX-XXX-XXXX
with engine N600E-2500044, on my list. And, although it is the only one,
either it is a type-O or as a preproduction Z600 it had a constant
transmission.
Any other Official documents?
Bill Colford.
