Hello
I have lurked on the list for about a week now after buying my first Z-600
coupe which I picked up today.
It has sat for a few years in a guy's garage after the engine "made a funny
noise". I will try to get it started and see how bad things are. Luckily I
got a spare engine and some other parts along with the car. I also have
leads on a sedan for parts-that may help me to get this one running. It
still has the original blue paint on it and the only rust that I can find is
a few bubbles on one door. It has been a Southern car it's entire life. I
have wanted one of these ever since my father and I went to the Honda dealer
back in 1971 and I saw them in the showroom. About 25 years ago I briefly
owned a S-600 coupe-which I should have kept-and now I have many British
cars that keep me busy. A few Austin Minis, Sunbeams, and even a Berkeley
to make things interesting. I live near Columbia, South Carolina-are there
any owners near me? Thanks for all the info that is available to me through
this group! Eric Gibeaut
