The fan on the Honda 600 is a lightweight plastic fan which does not place a large load on the engine and moves a fair amount of air at idle speed. If you did replace the fan with an electric fan, you would want to have a housing which properly moved the air across the cylinder barrels. That is a lot of effort for something which already works well and requires very little maintenance. I wish Honda had only used 2 bolts on the top and used some clips/slots where the lower two bolts hold the fan to the engine so it would be easy to remove the fan housing to clean the fins surrounding the cylinder barrels (the top 2 bolts are easy the remove, the lower 2 are more difficult to access).
Instead of replacing the fan, why don't you work on replacing the distributor with a pointless ignition or add a nitrous oxide system for power augmentation (make sure the power train is fairly new for the NO2 system).
good luck,

Hi Bill,
I don't know if anything OEM or aftermarket that bolts right in. It
is possible to convert the points to electronic ignition using some
aftermarket parts. Takes some welding and fabrication though. Some
day I'll pull my set up out and take some pictures to post. (I also
need to track down the wiring schematic.)
It does seem like point float is the first thing to these cars from
going faster.
